About the CONNECT Trial

General information

This study was set up by the Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital and is being carried out by doctors and researchers from various hospitals in Europe. This research has been approved by the medical ethics review committee. This is a special committee that assesses whether a study is safe for the participants and whether the rights of these participants are guaranteed.

Goal of the trial

We are investigating which treatment gives the best results for patients with a CPAM who do not have any symptoms after birth. We compare an operation with a wait-and-see policy.
